For policies Choosi can arrange direct, a lump sum payment of up to $1.5 million in the event of a terminal illness diagnosis or your death which can help your family manage financially and maintain their quality of life.

Extra cover, extra protection

For policies Choosi can arrange direct, extra cover can be taken out with some life insurance policies for a range of events. 
Ensure you read the relevant PDS for the cover specifics for each policy.
 

  Total and Permanent Disability Insurance (TPD)

A lump sum benefit paid when an insured person suffers a total and permanent disability. Cover may:

  • Provide up to a $1 million benefit, depending on your age; and
  • Depending on the policy you choose, be available if you work more than 20 hours a week

  Serious Illness Insurance

A lump sum benefit paid in the event of a covered serious illness. Depending on your policy, cover may:

  • Provide up to a $500,000 benefit, often dependent on your life insurance benefit amount
  • Include for serious illnesses such as Heart Attack, Malignant Cancer, Stroke or Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery

  Children's Insurance

Depending on your policy, a lump sum benefit paid per child if they suffer an event such as Accidental Death, Paralysis, or Meningitis. Cover may:

  • Provide up to $80,000 benefit per insured child in the case of Serious Injury or Illness.
  • Provide either the full or partial benefit in the case of Accidental Death
  • Be available for children who are Australian residents between 2 and 17 years of age
